It has been said that "Spirit is found in the details of life", and this statement seems even more true when we consider what lies beneath the ocean waves. The marine world is so amazing in it's beauty, complexity, and sophistication that most of the details remain hidden from view until we've ventured there enough times or acquired the skills needed to see beyond the big picture. Once this shift occurs, an incredible and unending mystery begins to unfold as our capacity to make out the details increases with every dive. Yes, the big animals encounters will thrill us, and become some of our most cherished stories, but it's the details that will astonish and sustain us, becoming the magic that can make every dive "the best one yet"!

We also understand that beyond the sightseeing aspect of diving lies the opportunity to gain a deeper awareness of ourselves. We call this exploration an Underwater Vision Quest. As with the Native American tradition of a Vision Quest, the opportunity exists for each of us to enter Nature with an open and receptive heart and wait to see what information/experience unfolds. The experience may come in the form of a special encounter with a marine creature, the identification of a totem, or through the weightless dance in the rhythmic ebb and flow of water movement. Whatever form the experience takes, the gifts from the ocean are personal and meaningful to anyone who is willing to be open and receptive.
